I don't think Dumba slips past the Islanders.

Listening to Rennys comments regarding Dubes next year sure sounded like he expects to be the coach come fall.

Assuming draft order stays as the final standings indicate, I'll guess:

CBJ: Yakupov
EDM: Murray
MTL: Grigorenko
NYI: Dumba
TOR: Galchenyuk
ANA: Forsberg
MIN: Reinhart
CAR: Ceci
WIN: Faksa
TAM: Rielly

After reading the new rankings...

Jackets - Yakupov
Oilers - Murray
Habs - Galchenyuk
Islanders - Reinhart (call it a hunch...Snow marches to his own beat)
Leafs - Forsberg
Ducks - Rielly
Wild - Grigorenko (big slide due to attitude concerns)
Hurricanes - Ceci
Jets - Faksa
Lightning - Trouba

Dumba will end up in Calgary...LOL

Forsberg won't go in the top 10.

No way Dumba doesn't go top 10.

I hate you.

I honestly think that Reily will be drafted before Reinhart and Forsberg, Dumba won't slide any further than the Canes

Interesting thing about a few players...Dumba falls into this category, along with Grigorenko...

Teams are either very hot or very cold for them. Players like Ryan Murray, everyone agrees on. Craig Button has been saying Dumba 2nd overall all season. Grigs might have 2nd overall talent, but people are scared of his attitude, work ethic, defensive play, and the Russian factor.

True, however I think people have to stop talking about the Russian factor. Yes it's true it's the most known of however each nation has it's own factor. I'm sure a week or so ago you read the article on Oilersnation about how to not get into the Russian factor, comparing certain Canadian players such as Heatley.

Dumba has great leadership and character along with excellent skating and shooting. I'm sure many teams would reconsider Subban if they had the choice. I actually think Subban flourishing will make teams take a risk on Dumba.

Two issues with Dumba's game:

1. Bad playmaking decisions. He has tremendous enthusiasm, which is good, but he gets caught up ice frequently because of bad pinches and unnecessary hits. With players like this, it's always questionable how coachable they are. An example: Joni Pitkainen. Brill talent, but he's off in his own world and it makes his team nuts. But in fairness to Dumba, he can learn his way out of this issue.

2. Size. Dumba plays like he's huge, but he isn't. He's a physical force in the WHL, but he won't be in the NHL. See Gilbert Brule, who was taken in the Top 10. Brule steamrolled everyone in Junior, but had a terrible time adapting to the NHL game because he was one of the smaller guys out there. Especially on D, size matters. You could see a number of D men in the draft get picked later than ranked because of lack of size. Reinhart will move up because he's big.

After seeing Dumba play a couple times one name kept popping into my head an undersized defenseman who is fast but make questionable reads to make a hit or pinch, Hated in the city of Edmonton unfairly I might add. Marc Andre Bergerion. If dumba fairs better than him good on him but it is a name that pops up in my mind after seeing him play.
